Help with Key Programing

Featured Replies

Hi All, I know there are hundreds of threads about this subject however my problem is a bit unique.

My car is MKII 2008 1.6 MPI and i live in Qatar, The original remote for the car has been broken into peaces and the spare key doesn't turn the car on because obviously it is not programed ( I bought from ebay in 2015 and Agency said they can't program it because something wrong with it ), The problem now is there is no locksmith in the whole country can do the programing for this car and the Agency want to charge me around 450 USD to get a duplicate key after 15 working days.

Im totally stuck and don't know what to do, Is there anyway to program they key without presenting the car so i can do it in another country?

Is there a way to remove the ignition for example and send it along with the keys to be programed overseas?

Is there any other solutions? I Would appreciate all your advises and input, TIA.

Hello,, maybe if battery is still making contact in your broken key then signal may still be emitting a frequency.. Just try starting your car with broken key beside ignition!? just a thought... And good luck..

+1 for Ardle's suggestion, it does work.
