Underseal

Featured Replies

My Octy is in for repair and one of the parts is metal ie the wing, am wondering whether it comes in undersealed  or not.Any one know?

Do you mean the replacement part or the original as from the factory?

The replacement part is just protected metal that the BodyShop painter is going to have to prep, prime, paint etc.

If you want underseal then discuss with them.  They can do what ever you want before fitting the liner back on.

Thanks for that ,will ask them if it was done. Hope it is not too late

If the panel is genuine then it should have an electrolitic coating or be galvanized (zinc coating applied before the mat black finish applied) so should not need underseal, however if it's an aftermarket (pattern) part then yep have some kind of underseal put on.
