Poor experience here. These guys are my closest dealer.

 

Have a Rapid Spaceback SE Tech and wanted to see if I could get my Amundsen Nav's SmartLink upgraded (software update I thought) so that I could have Apple CarPlay.

They did not have a clue. Rang three times and spoke to three different people. All of them promised to look into it and call me back. Nobody ever did, terrible aftersales, I was willing to spend a few hundred pounds to have this upgrade.

 

Eventually, I spoke to Skoda directly who told me that sadly it can't be done. I'm not sure how this is true, because the SmartLink is an option on my screen and it tells me to get it activated at a Skoda dealer... hmm...
