Swing 2 sound setting

Featured Replies

Hi,

I would have a problem with a Swing 2 radio in Fabia III, that I built in the rear speakers and did not sound like a front in the back. You can activate the 6 speakers in the VCDS, so there is no tweeter in the back, but I've also built it up so it's got 8 loudspeakers. The rear cables have a different sound, much more high, and much less bass. At first I thought it was a loudspeaker problem, but when I hooked the rear cables forward, there was no bass and there were a lot of highs, so there's something inside the radio.
Can anyone help this to make the front and rear speakers sound the same?

Assuming wiring is all correct etc..There is a balance setting so you can go have all audio LEFT TO RIGHT or FRONT TO BACK.

the setting is 0 as standard,

i think it is  =

-05 for rear

+ 05 for front.

You can mess with all the bass & treble settings in there as well. Its pretty basic but does sound ok.

I do have rear speakers fitted by an audio shop and the fronts were way to loud so i am on (- 4 for rears)

The balance and the fader are good, and the tone setting is okay because I've made the headset with the settings first, and the signal is different.
These are the radios in Octavia in Rapid, and for Octavia, for example, 8 are the design of the headgear, and they look the same for the front at the front. That is, the sound is modified by software, and this should be changed in my radio. I just do not know where this setting is. You can do this with some external software like VCDS.

not sure what else to suggest?
