I have lowered mine on KW Variant 1 coilovers which cost me the best part fo £800 and I am very happy with the kit.

The problem you have is that if you just want to fit springs then as the car is so heavy it will be a very bouncy ride, if you like that then go for it but if you can push your budget then it is a lot better to fit the dampers as well or coilovers.

The lowering options for the Superb IMO are not broad, I spent ages looking a I wanted to get it as low as possible, most companies will only drop the Superb 30-35mm and I don't believe that's enough, the Superb ride height is so high as standard that lowering it that much will make little difference IMO.

So I have lowered mine 45mm at the front and 40mm at the back, I had it 55mm at the front but we couldn't get it off the ramps, LOL!!

Eibach do some great springs and I believe that Koni do a kit also but I went with KW in the end. Best off speaking to Awesome GTI or Bigboystoys for more information.

You have a nice spec car mate so lowering it will only make it better, here are some pics of mine lowered:

cheers mate. I agree with your comment about available options and the ride height of the Superb. I went to the car yesterday and found a couple of badgers nesting in the rear arch!!! 30mm ish and 19" RS6 or RS8 alloys will be what I'm aiming for.

Nice ride u have there.certainly looks the part after lowered..KW V1 is great.Im on Konis adj. coilovers myself n it works great with the 19" I hav.having Swaybars help a lot in corners..minimising roll.

Do you drive a Superb then mate?

You got any pictures of your motor, the ride height and the Sway Bars?
