I've got a Octavia Mk2 1.4TSI, 11 plate, 80k. There's some peculiar rattling noise around the chain cam / water pump area. and I need it to be investigated, but dealers what to charge £90 ish for diagsnostics. Me thinks that's a little extortionate. Need some one with plenty of Octavia experience. Might not be anything to worry about, but just want to be sure.
