EGR 1.6CR buggered. 2011 Octavia Options?

Car went into limp mode last week, flashing glow plug light. Plugged in and got codes shown below. Cleared codes and sprayed EGR cleaner plus fuel additive but not going away. I want rid of the car anyway as now doing short miles. Options: Proper fix (expensive) or blank / code out (cheaper)

Car does run fine until the EGR moves position!

Are there any reputable tuners in Preston for option 2?

PS I've not had the emissions fix!

Hi all, long time reader, first time poster. So my car this evening decided that it would sound the alarm...again....but this time no amount of pressing on the key fob, and the other spare fob, starting and stopping the engine etc...would make it shut up. My plan after a few minutes was to drive the car to the nearest trading estate to try and work out what is going on, and yes the alarm was still going off whilst I was driving the car!! A new one for me this is. This happened after

Last September my Kamiq 1.5 DSG 2020reg (regularly serviced) displayed 'Gearbox in Emergency Mode'. Very near home so able to limp home. Dealer took it in and fixed it under extended warranty. All okay until a month ago when it happened again, this time far from home. Switched off the car, restarted and all back to normal and drove perfectly. Yesterday it happened again and only D2 available. Started car today, no problem, all working, no warning sign. I'll be contacting the dealer again

Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Followed for sometime this morning - Met Black, Orange wheels, side stipe and Orange rear wing outer tips. Drove with my window down, for several miles on this gorgeous morning, just listening to the fantastic sound ,under load and on overrun ! Hi all, recently bought a 2016 Fabia 1.2tsi with 1 key and it's the push button start, had 2 mobile locksmiths out and both have the same problem, they can cut and programme the keys so it locks and unlocks and will start the car but the new key they cut will only start the car if held right up to the button and then you get the dreaded "key not found" warning and noise,the original key works fine so I can't see that it's a car fault and I can put up with holding the spare key up to the switch a
