Lights not working

Featured Replies

Hello guys

Weird one.

Just came out from eating dinner at a restaurant , perfectly fine before going in. Start the car, No interior lights at all, indicators, dash backlight etc. Abs and tyre pressure monitor lights on dash are lit. Any exterior rear lights not working including brakes.

I've not checked any fuses yet , that will be first in the morning .

But was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue.

Fyi , I have LED bulbs in number plate , reading light  and boot light. If that could make this happen.

Headlights are working fine btw .

Kind regards

Luke.

Checked all the fuses this morning , including the battery ones. And they are all in working order.

Any ideas ?

Cheers.

Power supply for the light switch fuse usually.

Thanks for that. Do you mean the wires going into the fuse themselves or ?

I'm getting all sorts otlf warnings now on the dash, might be because I pulled all the fuses I don't know. Brakes is one of them. I tried to plug in to the obd but it's not reading any of the modules either. Radio etc won't turn on.

I've just googled it, do you mean the j519 module under the dash?

Nah it is a fuse it happened to mine and it was that.

Sorted it.

Unplugged the voltage supply unit under the dash behind the fuse box, plugged it back in  and then everything worked , just cleared all the errors with my dongle .

Seems to be all good now. Maybe a loose connection or something.
