Maxidot stuck on phone

Can any body help

upgraded to dab columbus, no issues and all working fine but the maxidot defaults to the phone settings screen everytime. I can naviagte the phone settings with the steering wheel buttons but I can’t exit to the other options (MFD, audio etc)

if i set a new naviagtion destination on the columbus I can quickly choose MFD or audio on the maxidot but if the phone rings it gets stuck again

i have reset the columbus, disconnected the bluetooth module overnight but nothing works

columbus is running V15 maps and 5238 SW

driving me mad so any help appreciated
