New car delivery delayed due to emissions

Featured Replies

My mums had a call from Toyota this afternoon to say that delivery of her new Auris Hybrid has been delayed due to emissions tests. She wasn't due to get it for another few weeks so not really sure what it is. I'm assuming it is to do with the new style emissions tests replacing the NEDC ones?

Anyone else heard about this kinda thing?

Which engine does it have

A 1.8 Petrol and Electric it is a Hybrid 136ps.

Like the VW 1.4TSI Hybrids that the order books are closed on.

Plenty others will be doing the same until they have the WLTP results and they can publish those and buyers will know what they are getting or can not get.

please enlighten us WTF IS WLTP

so can anyone say what the tax (road)  implications of this will be ?  ie;   31 August  vs 1 Sept'     vehicle in mind has a 1500 petrol VAG  engine

is this test with or without the fix  or allowing VAG to get ready for a new fix

This is not good news for people ordering from VAG

That’s not good news.

Was thinking of replacing mine as it’s due up in 9 months.
