Numberplates with small manufacturer logos on

Featured Replies

Is it possible to buy numberplates with small manufacturer logos along the bottom anymore?

(I'm talking about along the bottom of the plate, where the dealer name would be. As if it is a manufacturer plate.)

A few years ago fancyplates.com offered these, but they don't anymore, and all I can find are ones that put it on the side where the euroband should be, which looks a little tacky.

(I'm not bothered if they're "show plates" I'll spec standard UK font, NI checks on numberplates re: BS numbers etc seem very lax - a lot of cars even use a different 'metro' font anyway)

Similar to these:

Only with a small Skoda logo / 'Skoda' instead of Golf R. (And no GB euroband / border)

Thanks

Probably not legally.

I believe that the number plate at that point needs to have the name of the business that printed the plate.

I think to get what you want you'd need to look at 'show plates'. Which would be strictly speaking illegal but I think realistically unlikely to cause you any bother as long as the spacing and font were standard.
