Show me the cars

What the hell is happening with car sales in this country (new euro emissions),you pick up any car mag and there’s news of all these fantastic new motors but where are they?if you look on the KAROQ AND KODIAQ sites you can see the problem customers are having getting new vehicles in the next six months plus and it’s not just Skoda ,I visited a Hyundai dealership and was told if I ordered a new car today the earliest date I could pick it up is September.so I was wondering if the existing cars that have been built don’t pass the req tests are they going to be modified (fixed) to meet the NEW test?

They will have to first register vehicles in the UK without WLTP figures in August and then flog them Pre -Registered / Used will they not?

Only some low volume sellers like Suzuki having a trump card to pull on being able to flog non tested vehicles.

Or is there more to it as I noticed recently that after some good road test results the latest PEUGEOT GTI has been withdrawn for sale in the uk

Peugeot were the first to publish their test results though.

Obviously some vehicles are going to fall into the wrong VED bands for the UK market.....

Some VW's or all actually are going to have very different new test figures from what they are showing now under the old test results.
