Can’t find an answer anywhere! Got the trusty airbag light on as bought the car with it on where it’s got an OMP steering wheel now! Looked it all up and got the 2.2 Ohm resistors and went to fit them to find a fused resistor was already in place and hasn’t blown so do I need to get the diagnostics read and cleared for the light to go or is there something more?

If that's the correct value resistor (can't comment on that) then clearing the fault code with VCDS or similar should turn the SRS light off unless there's another problem e.g. in the wiring.

Or the value of the resistor is not correct, does the fault code say either open circuit (resistor value too high) or open circuit (resistor value too low)?

Can’t see that far into the fault code unfortunately

Need to "find a friend" with a better fault code reader and offer him/her some beer tokens
