I am looking to sell my 2008 Fabia 2 and get a newer car, I would like to sell private but not sure what to ask for, and I was hoping someone will be able to shed some light please. 

 

It is silver, 57 plate (2008), 5door, 1.9 TD PD engine, 45k miles, most of service history not full, MOT till jan 19 - no advisories on last one, climate control/air conditioning, PAS, ABS, Cruise control, alloy wheels, timing belt and waterpump done at 31000 (before purchase), great body work, tow bar (already on the car I don't use it). 

Runs very tight still. 

Webuyanycar quoted me £1045, but I cannot fimd one for less than 2k on autotrader. 

 

Any suggestions on asking price?

My guess is they will wash/wax it, re-MOT it at sale, along with basic service and double that figure. Might even add a little more!

Stick it up for £2200 and see how the fish bite!
