Heater control module

Hi there I have a 2006 Skoda Octavia 1.6 FSI hatchback and my Heater control is not working only blowing hot air but if the vehicle is cold and not started it goes like a not hot or cold air just somewhere in the middle had it checked and regassed but still not working I had it om VCDS and it was saying that there is no communication woth the climatronic but I have got the old fashioned controls three knobs and 3 button for for A/C and 2nd for air recirculation 3rd for resr heated screen so I do not think that it is climstronic but however I went ahead bough new one but still is not working amd light on it are out so the knobs do not light up noir the buttons if I press them anyone has any hints tips?
