I have an odd twittering sound coming from my air con - it only occurs when the engine is under load, ie when I drop the clutch to change gear it stops and it sounds exactly like this:

 

 

It happens when I have it at any temperature and only stops when I turn the AC off

 

Or is it just because it's new?

Had a brand new Ibiza where the AC made a grinding sound whenever the AC was on. Compressor was duff. Replaced at dealer under guarantee a couple of weeks after purchase.

 

Have not had any issues at all with climatronic in either Toledo (Rapid).
