Help, radio won't turn off!

Featured Replies

It is stuck on a radio station no matter what I do. When I press buttons on the Colombus or MFD things change on screen, but the radio is stuck on the last stations / volume.

Switching off ignition / restarting engine / locking doors and leaving car does not help.

I fear the battery is going to run dead like this sooner or later.

I posted yesterday about a stuck radio on my Octavia 2 for the second time.  It seems to be a software issue and like all computers, it can be fixed by removing the power to force a reboot.

In my case I had to remove and reinsert the radio fuse that is in the engine bay, not the one in the cabin fusebox.

Give it a try.

Does the 3 button reboot work?

Hold down track backwards and forward and info button on the right all together and the unit should reboot

Yeah that worked thank goodness. I was randomly pressing buttons thinking one of them must be a some sort of reboot.
