64 plate 1.2 tsi engine f,s.h. at skoda garage

Has the car had Fixed Servicing so now had at least 3 Oil & Filter changes?

Maybe change to VW502 00 spec oil so 5w 40 FS for fixed servicing rather than the VW 504 00 / 5w 30 FS Long Life.

What is the Full Service History showing as what they have done / replaced?

Other than Oil & Filters, Oil & Pollen, has it had a new Air Filter, New Spark Plugs, the Brake Fluid Changed?

Maybe go see a Mechanic  / Technician and get the car / engine checked out including the timing chain and tensioner.

Maybe also get new spark plugs fitted if not done already.

Does a 64 plate car have a timing chain?
What year did they change to belt?

64 plate 1.2Tsi will have a timing chain.... as has my 15 plate;  the newer (cam belt) engines started,  I think,  on the 65 or even the 16 plates,  but someone will be along soon to confirm that, I'm sure.
