2014 Octavia vrs DRL fault

Featured Replies

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum. Just bought my 2014 Octavia VRS Tdi this week so I thought I'd sign up.

I've got a problem with the LED DRL which is in the headlight. There are no fault codes or messages. The driver side LED strip is dull compared to the passenger side which is normal. It's like a dull yellow'ish colour. I changed the DRL power module today and it's still the same as before.

Would this be a case of replacing the complete headlight unit?

Hey, please do update the thread if you did find a solution to this issue.

I see you're facing the same issue I am. Can't find a workaround anywhere because most people had it figured under warranty itself. Please do let me know in case you find a solution! Appreciate it. Will update if I can find one too

Hey, sure thing. I'll update. I'm finding out from the Indian mods community but no updates so far.

It looks like your vehicle requires H7 Bulbs for dipped beam and H15 Bulbs for your main beam application.

Dynamo led displays stock SKODA OCTAVIA car bulbs for all applications ranging from headlight bulbs going all the way down to interior dashboard bulbs.

As you can see, it is the DRL that is an issue no the dipped/main bulb application. Any work around to rectifying/replacing just the DRL? Could it be the LED driver that has given way?
