Stock head unit and Traffic

Hello,

I'm new to Skoda and am having trouble understanding the behaviour of the traffic function of the Skoda Symphony head unit.

I have the instructions, I've read them but am clearly being a bit thick.

All I want is for the head unit to change over the broadcast I'm listening to, when a local traffic signal is broadcasting a report, then change back to my previous station or CD etc when the traffic signal stops.  This is how my fords, renualt, kia, astra etc head units worked but is this possible with the stock head unit in my fabia?

I have, somehow, managed to record a traffic broadcast, played it back with AIM button but this recording happened when I was already listening to my BBC local station at the time.
