Troubleshooting error codes

Featured Replies

Ok. So the problems with my Superb seems to continue.

At first I had a blinking glow plug light. A sensor behind the engine was loose so my dealer fixed it.

But they also said that there is problem with something else that needs more troubleshooting.

I bought an OBDEleven device to be able to read what kind of codes I actually get. And the results are in.

# Engine electronics module: U112300 Databus error value received.

# Climate control unit: U112100 Databus missing message.

#Distance control united: U112300 Databus error value received.

#Xenon control unit: U112100 Databus missing message.

#Infotainment: B200087 Incompatible software.

I made a new appointment with my dealer for more troubleshooting.

Has anyone a clue of what might be wrong with my car?

All error messages were deleted by the dealer 2 days ago. So everything you see I'm the thread is new.

A fault number is only a small part of the story.

Especially the U112300, this is a generic identifier and unless you have ODIS (Genuine software) you wont be able to investigate it any further. Even VCDS cant. There is a lot more hidden within the fault code and its specifics of what caused it, where it was from and what was expected.

The gist of U112300 is that a module has sent a message to another module and that unit wasnt expecting to receive the message. Or vice versa, a message was expected but never received. Generally down to configuration errors.

On the flip side, unless you are actually experiencing any faults, ignore that code completely and act like it isnt even there.
