greetings ! i am having problems with my headunit. i keep getting mechanic on the display . i am totally lost is it the head unit or changer ? also if something is goosed is the changer cable universal if i upgrade ? sorry if these questions have been asked before ........cheers warren

you can get after market changers to work with standard stereo's but not vice versa i think.

sounds more like the stereo i'd say rather than the changer.

get an mp3 headunit as it will be a lot cheaper than buying a new stereo and changer
