Hey everyone, skoda and forum newbie here!

Hi everyone, I'm Ben from Bedford area. I've just bought a 2006 octavia vrs estate, petrol.. In red. 125k miles, but the reason I went for it is that it had one owner from new. Full main skoda dealer service history up til 2018,very well looked after. Don't want to jinx it but it drives like it's only got 50k miles, I'm so happy with it. I'd say from my experience (so far, which is only a week and a bit) 100k+miles probably ok if its been well cared for. I feel it has a LOT of life left in it, but even though I have plans for tuning, my priority is to treat her how her prev owner did. I'm absolutely amazed at the octavia vrs. The way its put together, the way it drives, absolutely beautiful car. I added my other half to the insurance, she's fallen in love too. She's set on getting a skoda as her next car, I said go for the fabia vrs!

My last club worthy car was an mr2 turbo, lots of fun but with the octavia, I've had a stage 1 remap and it almost feels as quick, but dam it feels well put together. Paid £2950, I couldn't be happier with it. Im hoping there's a bit of a social aspect to this forum? As I do miss meets, drives and chats. Sorry no photo yet, will get some asap!

A warm welcome to the Forum Ben !  Sounds like you've got a good 'un:thumbup:
