has any one suffered contaminated fuel from a garage ?  and has as a result had to have new injectors /fuel pump /fuel filter  at a substantial cost 

I have mis-fueled.  Put petrol in a brand new diesel. Cost the Insurance lots.

 

If you got contaminated fuel from a filling station best get the samples taken.  The retailer or their whole seller / supplier will be paying for all repairs.

Get in touch with the Filling Station and owners.  In writing, on the phone, by e-mail, by solicitor.

Dozens or hundreds of others will be in the same situation as you if the filling station tanks had contaminated fuel.

The AA, RAC, Trading Standards and Press / Social media in the area will know.

Taxi Drivers will know.

tried apparently ,you have to have at least two other people to complain  that they were at the same service station as me and they had problems with their motors ,also they need their till receipts to prove they were there at the same time ,  a small garage so no cctv  also we were away on holiday  at the time   as no one else has come forward it seems for now that my pocket will be empty for a long time 

What is it, petrol or diesel?

Do you not have a till receipt or proof of payment?

 

Do you have the fuel sample? 

Who said it was contaminate fuel?

How far after filling did you have to get help, or what happened?

 

Where did this happen, was it in the UK? 

  Difficult for only one car to get bad fuel from a filling station pump / tank.

 

Others getting contaminated fuel might get as far as you did depending on how empty their tank was when filling up.
