Octavia III 2019 reverse light switch problem

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.

I have some problem with my 2019 Octavia.

I made some changes in the software using obdeleven (pro).

1. Start/stop disabled by changing voltage level in 19 - working.

2. Tried to adapt Cornering lights in 09 with security access:

Leuchte12NL LB45-Lichtfunktion B 12 to Abbiegelicht links.....and rest like in  the instruction on this forum - not working (I don't know why it is not working, just switched it back to "not active")

3. After 2nd point i tried to change 09 long coding byte 14 bit 7 to "1" (in obdeleven signed as Cornering Lights via Fog Lights) and also didn't work, so I recoded it back to "0".

4. Tried to enable passenger mirror dip on selecting reverse in 52 by:

coding Byte 4 Bit 2&3 to “1” - didn’t working (honestly I had no time to check it closely, probably I skipped changing right mirror selection switch to the right position)

Getting back to the point!

My problem is probably after one of the changes I've made, my reversing light switch has stopped working. When I put in reverse gear, my reverse light don’t light. Also PDC system is not activated.

The question is:

Did I broke it up? How bad is it?

Is there any possibility that I decoded reversing light switch?

Does anyone know how to fix it?

or is it just a coincidence and my Octavia have some hardware fault like broken fuse? (I'm pretty sure it is not)

Thank you in advance for your help, I hope that we will solve this problem.

If you need some extra information, I’ll post it ASAP.

Best Regards

David

David did you ever get a fox to this issue? It’s happened to me on my 2017 VRS.
