Replaced Grill Badge

Featured Replies

Well I finally got around to buying a new grill badge as the old had faded completel and what a difference it makes .....

I'd love to change the wheel centre caps but ideally the wheels need sorted and I've got the passenger door mirror puddle light and indicator here just need to get my garage to replace it before the MOT

Hi Marcus,

It was purchased from Parks of Hamilton or at least a division of the company, Parks Motor Homes it was sold as Yeti Badge but fits other models and is a genuine Skoda Part and a direct swap over as the two locating pins were in the same place as my old one ....... I hope the link below works

Hi Labman,

The badge looks great!

Did you have to do anything more than heat up the old one with a hairdrier to prise it off?

I had a go with mine last week using an old storecard to prise with but it wouldn't shift.

It needed more prising off than the leverage from an old credit card so I had a knife between the badge and the plastic card... that sorted it!

I poured boiling water over mines to soften the adhesive pad behind the badge and a plastic blade worked into the edge all around to loosen it off but like you I found it required more to lift it up and break the pins holding it and ended up prising it up carefully with a very thin screwdriver .....
