Fuel Leak after effects

Featured Replies

Hello, we have a 2008 1.9tdi Octavia that we have had for years, recently we have had a fuel leak and the car was driven to the garage to just replace the pipe and stop the leak.  However it seems fuel has got into places it shouldn't, now the car wont select reverse, the clutch is very strange and it doesn't drive properly at all.  Will this just dry out or require parts replacing. Thanks

If the clutch has been contaminated with diesel it will need replacing.
