N75 boost sensor

Featured Replies

I have a 55 mk2 Octavia elegance 2lt Tdi 103kw/140. I have daily code 16618 which relates to boost sensor N75. I can’t find it and want to know if I need to go under the car to get to it. If so I’ll take it to the garage. Thanks.

N75 is not a sensor, it's a solenoid.

Thats a boost pressure limit exceeded fault code so i'd suspect the VNT mechanism is sticking inside the turbo.

  • Hoses incorrectly connected, disconnected, blocked or leaking
  • Boost Pressure Control Valve (N75) faulty
  • Boost Pressure Sensor (G31) faulty
  • Turbo Charger stuck/faulty
