If that was what was needed to get the RDE2 results then all good stuff.

Just as long as people know what they are getting and so do the people at Dealership Service Desks.

 

Must be about time VW Group put a 7 year warranty as standard on ICE vehicles as well as on EV's.

Biggest car manufacturer surely trusts that all the bits can be fitted correctly and last a few years if servicing is correctly done & they are very clear on Service Schedules.

 

VW had a perfect chance there to mention that there have been issues with 1.5TSI EVO Manuals, 

and they were not downsized turbo engines, they were increased capacity from the 1.4TSI manuals with 150ps also but no kangerooing issues that Dealership and Customer staff said was a characteristic until VW was forced to get the 'Honesty' that was supposed to be their mission for Customer Confidence, 

as the dropped 'Das Auto'. After being forced to owning up to the Defeat Devices.
