boot lit interior scratched, part numbers, plastic leather option?

Featured Replies

Hello all,

the interior of my cars boot is a bit scratched. (170 hp CFGB estate DSG)

That means the big 2 plastic things that are mounted on the lid itself with its electric struts.

I had them already dismantled because I fitted a rear dashcam and rear camera.

1)

Does anybody know the part numbers for these, so I can take a look how much these would cost?

2)

Would it be an option to glue some plastic leather on those?

That would make the car special and would allow me to hide the rear dash cam better.

Pleather is cheap nowadays, so is a spray can of glue specialized for pleather. It is not very textured, a lot of flat surface.

Some holes would be to cut, the button for the electric struts, the lamps, the pull down thingie which I have removed.

What else am I missing with the pleather option?
