Intercooler o-ring

Featured Replies

Any idea of part number or size of the intercooler o-ring, from turbo to intercooler not the hockey stick ?

Changed all parts but still down on boost pressure, have found oil / residue on the seal going into the intercooler

Mk2 octavia vrs petrol

Unsure about the part number, however a bit of oil isn't uncommon in the intercooler system. If you take off any of your charge pipes you'll get a bit dripping out.

Ah fair enough! Oil eats away those pipes after a while sadly. Honestly the best way would be to do the old sleazy trick, and call the dealer - get the part number, and browse the aftermarket for cheaper options. 😛

Went to the skoda dealer on sat, told him the exact part and he came out with a pic of the inlet manifold, then asked me which o-ring !!! Said i'll pop back later as he had no clue 😂😂 will pop the joint tomorrow and measure it myself 😂

It's not what I call an o-ring.  The profile is different.

Skoda call the IC a charge air cooler.  partno of the o-ring should be  3C0145117H but double check 7zap as you haven't given a year or engine code.
