Hi all got major isuue with my car, sunday got a light shudder (felt like a clutch judder.... Auto) semmed to clear then did it again no warning lights, then stopped, i was slowing down at a roundabout then it just stopped had hit to a mechanic he says its seized plenty of oil and water in engine could it be dsg box 😬😬😬😬

It could be the DSG, it could be the Haldex, or the rear diff.

So how many miles has the car done?

When was the DSG last serviced, Oil & Filter changes due every 40,000 miles.

?

When was the Haldex Serviced, Oil & Filter Change due 3 yearly, some will say 4 yearly and some 40,000 miles, others 30,000 miles.  But servicing is required.

The rear diff is different, it can have the oil changed.
