2012 Superb 1.6TD 140BHP Map - Experiences?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am contemplating getting the 140bhp map for my Superb that is currently sitting at 109bhp which feels slightly under powered for a car this size.

Does anyone have any positive or negative experiences with a 140bhp map with this model? I know they can go up to 170bhp but I understand injectors and turbos are not designed for that and you end up with a money pit.

The least difficult way to get 140 or 170 bhp is swap to a 2.0 TDI, and will be less hassle in the long run.

Transformed my 1.6, I wouldn't think twice provided it was done by a reputable company.

Best money I've spent on anything automotive.
