What kind of warm up times do you get in the winter time, just seeing if my stat is lazy.

Ea113 or Ea111?

 

1.2tsi engine has a water pump with a vacuum operated shroud that shuts off the heating circuit during warm up and if the heating control is set to cold to speed up engine block warm up.

 

It sticks, sometimes you need to turn the temp control to off and back on a few times to release it.

 

1.4tsi is conventional water pump I think.
