Pointers needed obd: P2425

Featured Replies

Hi All, apart from a visual inspection regarding egr circuit open i got on a cheap reader (p2425) not sure whether to pay a garage or do a few simple part changes, but not knowing what to test swap brings me here. The engine runs fine pulls well etc. Clearing the code only lasts until next engine start. Also Is this code an asap or can it be left. Thanks for any Help

What car, year, engine etc?

Hi, Yeah i forgot to mention.. Its a 2012 octavia 2.0 cr 140 bhp Engine code i think is cfhc.

I am not a  mechanic just a diyer, i have had the car a few months (newest one i ever had) and i intend to keep long term. I have manage to replace the tb so far and have service parts filters etc ready to do when the lights show.

Before I can tackle a job I have to know and be confident that i wont mess anything up. thanks.
