Fuel tank breather valve

Featured Replies

Hi guys.Just changed on my VRS Octavia this valve. As heard before some peoples said that need to remove intake manifold.Well i decided not to do it as its not a quick job and did without removing it.What you have to do is untight all fixings for those hoses remove pcv hose as it will be easier to accsess.Lets start with buttom one under manifold use screwdriver to brake of that lock ring witch comes around the connection so you can disconnect the hose easy with pliers. Then disconnect top and front. To pull it out undo couple of screws for connectors whitch is located on right hand side and shown in picture will give you more space.New hoses push it through same way the one witch goes on top you can tie around some cable or fabric as it will help you to pull it up. Remember to leave buttom last to connect if top or front wont fit on properly there is no way you will be able to undo the one under manifold without destroying it so position top and front first.Hopefully it will help someone and save some time
