Hello, just recently bought my first Scoda

Featured Replies

Hello, I just recently bought my first Scoda, Oktavia Mk1 2004 4x4 2.0.

I live in Iceland, in the mid northern part of the country, a short distance from the polar circle, 66 degrees north. I have been enjoying driving the Oktavia for the last two months, the 4x4 comes handy in the snow, but the drivers door mechanism has a mind of his own.  Trying to figure out what was wrong with it, I stumbled onto briscoda. net using Google, and I am looking forward to  hopefully enjoy getting support and information from the group.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

Some nice pics of your car in the Icelandic scenery would be appreciated. 🙂

A warm welcome to the Forum !   I want to visit your thermal spas one day.

Hi, here are some pictures from few weeks ago, after northern snowy blizzard who blew over for one day.

I hope I can manage to send the pictures, first time for me.

Wow, haven't seen snow like that for many a long year in UK.😲
