Has anyone replaced the HU on a Superb with an after market stereo and managed to get the controls working on the steering wheel?

I have fitted an Blaupunkt Nashville DAB35 to my Superb and can't get the steering controls working.

I have tried the official Blaupunkt harness but it is for Octavia's but no dice.

Is it easy to get to the leads for the controls?

Do they feed into another unit before going to the stereo?

Surely the system should be the same as the Octy's?

The only leads that I have found on the green plug is the data lead and the clock lead. The data lead controls the standard stereo but not my Blaupunkt, even with the converter fitted.

Please help.

I am afraid that I haven't replaced the OEM unit with an aftermarket unit, I replaced my OEM unit with a DX Sat Nav unit and as you have described my steering wheel controls no longer function.

I was however aware that this might happen and I have grown used to it, a luxury that I didn't have in the Bora so I am not that fussed.

Someone on here will know what the answer is though mate, as for me I am in the same boat as you I guess.
