Depends on the width of the wheel, for example 6J would be 195, 6.5J a 205, 7J a 215, 7.5J a 225 and 8J a 235.

I am asking you because in the brochure presented only 205 for 16 and 17.

They try and fit the narrowest tyre particularly on 1.0 litre petrol cars because this gives the lowest drag (air resistance) and the best fuel consumption and therefore lowest fuel consumption (lower emissions). Fitting a wider tyre might negate your insurance as well as not meeting the manufacturer warranty.

This Spring I changed my tyres to 215/55/R17 - everything is OK
