Perhaps someone can help with the following?...I have a columbus media/satnav unit currently running on HW version H61 and software version 3984 delivery part no 3T0035680E.

I have tried to update it with a DVD purchased online but this did not work as it would not load onto the HDD.

Another supplier says I need an SD card for the update but before trying that just wanted to see if anybody else has had this issue and been able to sort it without a costly main dealer intervention?
