Rear Mirror Sensors and Cameras

Featured Replies

In a brief burst of usefulness, I was looking to mount my dash-cam today.

While looking for somewhere suitable to position it, I noticed there are a fair few sensors on and around the rear-view mirror.

Having a search around the forums, it seems I have the "lowline" camera, but I can only guess at what it's for. Does anyone know? (Is it for adjusting the LED light matrix pattern, maybe?)

I'm assuming the others are a rain sensor, a sensor for the auto lights, and a sensor for the auto-dipping mirror.

But does anyone know for sure what each of these 5 sensors/cameras does?

Camera in the mirror is the High Beam Assist Camera the little plastic bit is for the auto dimming mirror, sensors glued to the screen are for rain, light and humidity.

That's grand, thanks very much. 👍
