Been trying to sort a fueling issue with the car cutting into low power mode and just generally running really badly, just found this which I believe to be the canister purge valve which is emitting a loud electrical ticking noise that you can also feel if you put your finger on it. Does anyone know if this is normal or is it worth trying to replace it?

Is that gaffer tape to the right? If so is it collapsing and not letting air into the engine?

Thanks for the concern 😂 but it's just in place of one of the plastic brackets that has snapped, the stock intake is still holding strong underneatb.
