Hi -

We just got a Superb iV Estate which we love, but are really struggling with Skoda Connect. I registered as primary user initially and it worked fine. if a bit crashy. My wife then tried registering, which resulted in my user being deleted from the car altogether and me not being able to use Skoda Connect (the car shows up in the app but as unactivated).

I've since set myself up as another user (not primary) on the car, but cannot use the app at all - all I get is a picture of the car and an 'Activate' button - my concern is that if I do this it will boot her off.

Is it simply that the app cannot cope with multiple users?

One workaround I thought of is to simply login as her on the app on my phone - would that work?

I'm worried I'm missing something basic here...

Sorry nick be of much help, I moved from the previous 3 to the facelift and it confused the crap out of me tbh. 
I eventually got the wife set up but think I had to create her a Skoda connect account on the website first before it let me log in as her. 
I might have misremembered it was very traumatic as all I wanted to do was assign seat position lol

Thanks Nick - yeah, we created her an account but it seems that only one account can be 'primary' at a time, and only the primary account user can actually use the phone app to use features like sending routes, flash and honk etc. I can't seem to find any way round it.

My mrs a technophobe so long as seat goes forward when she gets in and back when I get in that’s as far as she goes lol

i am off atm, will try and have a play tomorrow see if it becomes any clearer lol

Hey Nick, with users set up on your car - does it work such that one key is recognised as one user (you), and another key is recognised as another user (your wife), and settings are adjusted according to which key unlocked the car?

I may be wrong but I think you can only have one "car" account and this is the one you use on the app. 

You can have a different in car setup for each of the keys. This "person" can adjust things in the car that are related to their comfort but cannot change "car" functions only the primary user can do this.
