Just got this month's EVO --- they have a new member to the longterm fleet --

a Race Blue Octavia vRS Estate.

The Octavia doesn't quite have the vivid' date=' driver-focused character of [b']evo's[/b] Golf GTi, but it's early days yet; maybe the vRS needs stretching before it shows it's true colours.

On the plus side, the Skoda rides much better than the VW, making for deceptively quick progress with passengers on board, helped by a speedo that reads 50,60,70,80,100.... With nearly 200bhp under my right foot I think I'd better keep a close eye on that....

they do have good taste on that mag and are'nt scared to try something a little different. good stuff
