hello all does any body know how to fit a phone kit with a sony headunit the HU is a sony CDX M9900

i am wanting to either fit a mute kit or a speaker divert harness as well............................... as the nomal speakers are pathetic..................... but this could prove to be a problem as the HU doesnt have a mute wire

any ideas

The mute wire is the light blue one marked ATT

right excellent i thought it was odd too but i never new what the ATT wire did and normally mute wires are either yellow or orange

Yep can confirm that blue ATT wire (Attenuate) is the input for anythign to Attenuate the levels down or mute the headunit when using the phone kit

Done it with sony h/unit and nokia 6310 etc car kit a good few times on older cars.
