hi all,ive got a 1998 octy estate,great car,but the cental locking has started playing up, when i open the car only the drivers door opens,i then have to open the rest of the doors from the inside,the car has no remote just a key,any suggestions,DOES IT SOUND EXPENSIVE,please help

Sounds like a loose wire on the drivers locking motor, a broken lock which doesn't send the signal or possibly the locking control box (if the octy has one).

I have seen the loose wire thing, and also the new lock barrel required on other makes of car and that wasn't expensive, esp if you are fitting yourself.
