Hi, I need a replacement ABS pump for my Mk.II Octavia (1Z3, 2007, 1.6 FSI Petrol 115 bhp).

Found the part no. 24.9145-0001.2 on different suppliers' websites and ordered one from Autodoc in Germany - the make is ATE.

It arrived safely but when the garage tried to fit it they found that it won't fit in the space available; there are too many bits protruding.

It may be that Skoda changed to a different component during the production run of this model.

Does anyone know of an information source on alternative part numbers?

At a guess, that part number is for cars a MK60 pump (with ESP) but your car has a MK70 pump (without ESP).

 

It might help if you can confirm the part numbers of your existing ABS pump/unit

Hi, thanks for that pointer.  Not sure whether I can locate the part number so I may ask the garage to have a look for me.

Hopefully the car is still apart or they at least took some pictures of the parts for you.

 

If the original ABS module has been refitted, a VCDS scan or similar should also confirm the part number - assuming it's still communicating

Hi, I got the garage to check the part number of the pump that's fitted. The number they've given me is

1KO (possibly IKO) 614117H

 

I'll try this to see if there's a match on the dealers' part lists.

I'm surprised you found a garage to fit a supplied part.

1K0 614 117 H is the hydraulic side, commonly fitted to the 1K0 907 379 P electronic side.

 

From a VCDS scan:

As you can see, it's a MK70 which tallies with my original thoughts.

 

I think the correct ATE part is 10.0207-0054.4. At least based from this image:
