Clifford G5 Alarm LED

Featured Replies

Has anyone got a Clifford G5 alarm system fitted with the new blue LED?

I had the previous G4 fitted in my old car with a red LED and although it was bright it didn't draw much attention to itself, but the new blue LED seems very bright and lights the car interior like a beacon at night. I'm not sure it won't attract more attention than it repells.

Has anyone got one fitted and what do you think?

Yeah I have one on my Clifford 650.

I like it that bright too be honest, it puts off thieves more than attract attention, even so if people get too near to the car the proximity sensors make them aware of the fact :P

Where did you mount yor LED?

I didn't mount it as such, the fitters did. They went for the free slot next too the petrol cap opener ( to the left ). Look very tidy and the LED is positioned so it can be seen from all the cars angles.

Good choice of alarm mate :D i also went for an optional flashing Clifford logo(blue) which sits nicely in the front window, and apparently can be seen from a way off lol

The proximty part of the system is spot on too, had the alarm fitted 18months now, and only ever gone off (full alarm)falsely once
