L&K iV Map queries

I've not long taken delivery of my new L&K iV Superb. I had an 18 reg L&K 190 diesel before. Somehow this feels different to drive. Probably because it is new and all nice and tight.

On to my query. The navigation / maps in the car. I've seen a few threads complaining that post codes can't be used. Great! Something that I used to have on my old L&K was in the bottom right of the map was the altitude of the car. I cannot see a setting to show this. I have found a setting to show it on the speedo, but I don't really want it there. But the biggest issue is that it hardly shows any road names. Pretty useless as a sat nav if you don't know what the roads are. I can't find any setting that would limit the number of road names shown. Has anyone else experienced this? Other settings on the old car were route preferences where you can set to avoid toll roads, ferries etc. Again, I can't find any of these settings.
