Citigo ..Horn swap.......

Featured Replies

i don't go around blowing it all the while ( before somebody comments on this), but the single tone horn on my Se is not good enough at motorway speeds. Truckers in left-hand drive  semi's ,have moved over a couple of times as I was along side  for a few seconds -don't fancy being a victim under the sideguards....

I know the horn is in a pig awkward place in front of the osf wheel (UK). Has anyone ever attempted a twin tone horn swap or similar??

Several people have been unhappy with the single horn....

Thanks for the link. Most do a cheap fix,and wire a second horn in parallel. Not taking any chances with my two year old SE, sounds like a recipe  for melting wiring or contacts to me.

Going to make up some wiring, and use a 30amp relay to sound  some cheap twin horns.......if I can get the wheel arch liner away....

The horn on my Monte Carlo is one of the best features of the car, fit one of those, you won’t be disappointed.
